I'm still in my exams.. 6 more papers and 5 days of BTN camp to go, and insha-Allah, I'll come up with a proper entry. Although I am contemplating if I should move to Blogspot. Problem is, I still haven't figured out how to control and modify my layouts, music, sidebars, etc. And at the same time, I'm contemplating if I should continue blogging. I always felt so inferior reading others' entries. So superbly done. Good English, good pictures, good ideas and flow of ideas, and a positive outcome. I don't know if my entries had the same impact. My entries are somewhat lack of something. I don't even know what it is. Perhaps a good story.

In the meantime, I'm studying for my next papers - Biology Unit 4, 5 and synoptic paper, as well as Chemistry Unit 4, 5 and synoptic paper. I watch the World Cup. I'm a bit disappointed with England's performance even though they won their last two games, the first was because of an own goal. The game against Trinidad & Tobago only took off properly when Rooney was in the game. Crouch made me (and my siblings) hate him over failing on so many promising chances... well, until he headed in that first goal. Perhaps he need some anger from us before getting that ball in. Haha, who knows. As much as I dislike Chelsea (especially Jose Marinho), I have to admit I admire John Terry for his sportsmanship. He's a really good captain. And I like him more when he saved the day by kicking out the ball which was only an inch or two away from England's goal. I find it funny how me and my siblings can say so many bad things about Frank Lampard and Joe Cole when we watch the EPL games but cheered them on rentlessly when it comes to World Cup. The "acting skills" of Joe Cole, which was our constant dislike, suddenly becomes a good thing in the World Cup. Haha.

Oh, and for anime fans... I have uploaded the song "Therru no Uta" by Teshima Aoi.. It's the theme song for the upcoming Studio Ghibli movie, Gedo Senki. I love the song very much with its deep lyrics, simple melody and beautiful voice.

Here is the link to download it: http://www.sendspace.com/file/wp143f

I'm signing off for now!

segala kenangan manis semasa di intec ni akan di simpan dalam minda buat selama-lamanya.semoga segala pahit manis perjuangan kita (batch ALM 5) akan membuahkan hasil.alangkah indahnya jika setiap yang kita usahakan itu akan membuahkan hasil.semoga tuhan akan membuahkan kejayaan kepada kita semua.bertawakkal je la atas segala usaha kita selama ni.dan bila dah ada kat oversea tu,jangan lupa pada daratan pulak.ingat dari mana asalnya kita.kekalkan budaya timur kita.jangan terpengaruh dengan budaya barat tu.but u r still in asian region rite.differ from me.maybe there are many obstacles i will faced during my 6 years study in europe.huh

one more,i think england takkan mara sejauh mana utk worl cup utk tahun ni.diorang banyak publisiti jer.kita tgk lah sejauh mana diorang dapat mara.yang pasti, holland is in my heart.tapi man utd's player dalam team england tetap mantap.cuba baca pull out the star yang free tu "england without rooney is like the car without engine".haha.go go go rooney :p

I laughed hearing you're contemplating moving to blogspot. the fact that recently hiyoshi, and pycno moved over (and before that KKL), i was thinking it's only about time you made the move .... and there you said it! it's true, there is a learning curve using blogger.

Regarding "And at the same time, I'm contemplating if I should continue blogging...I don't know if my entries had the same impact. My entries are somewhat lack of something.", i don't think so at all ... infact "some of us" are constantly seeking & stealing ideas from your blog

especially the songs.

by the way ... thankssssssssssssssss for theru no uta, i absolutely LOVE the song. i'm currently (still) reading the Earthsea book, after your exams you definitely should give it a read. I'd forgotten there's still art in the english language until i read earthsea. a must!

last but not least, good luck in your studies and exams and "enjoy" BTN :)

My team has always been Brazil... but after watching Argentina this year- wow.. they're the best this time around, I'd say! Though it's still too early to tell. I didn't watch England but my friends all said their performance were quite disappointing. I don't know... England never seemed to perform in the last three world cups. But we'll see ;) Germany seemed to improve too since the last cup.. My bet will be on Brazil, Argentina, and Germany =)

Your blog was one the first that inspired me to set up my own, way back in February 2004. Keep on writing, Ayumi! I'll always be your regular ;)

Old faithful Pycno will also be your regular too. You've always known that, dont you?

Contrary to what you think of your writings, I ALWAYS enjoyed reading all of your entries. They may lack a couple of things though - insincerity and pretentions.

But you know that I'm a genuine kind of guy who clicks with only sincere, genuine bloggers!!

bola - England memang suka sangat main defence and main malas. I don't support them, but can't help to feel sorry if they lose.

Salaam..
Haha.. thanks everyone! :) Insha-Allah I'll move to Blogspot once I figure out just how to modify blogs properly there.

About England.. well.. as much as I support them, I admit that their chances of winning is *almost* slim to none. I wouldn't be crushed if they exit the game, but at least let it be in an honourable way... Japan, another favourite team of mine, had not been playing as well as I wish they would. I just hope there'll be Asian representative to the top 16... South Korea is the hope for now.. Go Park Ji-Sung!!!!

I don't want Brazil to win. Simply because they've won one too many times. Argentina.. England's biggest enemy? ;P But they did play amazing football though...

"I don't know if my entries had the same impact."

The same impact?? My friend, I think your entries have just the same if not the greater impact, more often than not :)

Brazil is just too good apparently, can't really blame them for winning so many times, haha. Like the last World Cup, I actually wanted Germany to win. And this time I also wouldn't mind seeing another contender taking the crown. Esp Argentina!

btw I keep getting the message "no free slots available for download". Maybe you could try storing the mp3 at other places... please? I'd really like to have it.

:) Toshiba UK is refunding 60% off the price of your laptop if England win the Word Cup. Everyone I know says it just shows how confident they are that England won't.

Thank you for the file.. will enjoy listening to it :)

I think none of you who have written here should have any doubts about your writing abilities nor impact factor (hmm ni macam review scientific journal laks). I enjoy all of your articles, and I do keep coming back for more to slake my thirst. Hehehe. Coming from a 'kena ke layan?' type of person like me I assure you it means a lot.

BTW England kicks off at right about now... I wonder how the match will go? Hmmm shall I watch a World Cup 2006 game tonight (finally)?

Ayumi,

Insyallah whatever sincere efforts we put in our blogs are not put to waste. Whether it gives great or little impact is secondary. May Allah swt reward us for whatever good we've done, Ameen!
